Good Scents Only began during a season when I needed something that was mine—a place to create, to process, and to reconnect with parts of myself I had quieted along the way.
Making candles gave me that space.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just making candles. I was creating markers for becoming.

Creating these candles gave me more than a creative outlet. It gave me space to hear myself again.
In that space, I began to understand that becoming isn't always about adding more. Sometimes it's about releasing what you've carried for too long. Sometimes it's allowing yourself to receive the love, peace and possibility you've made room for. And sometimes it's having the courage to step fully into the person you've been becoming all along.
That journey changed the way I saw myself—and eventually, the way I saw Good Scents Only.
I realized I didn't want to create candles that promised to change someone's life. I wanted to create something that could hold space for the moments when we choose to change our own.
